MySpace videos of Mark Weigle live on Queer Radio at 4ZZZfm Brisbane 3rd October 2007

Australia, Brisbane, 4ZZZfm - and most especially myself - were all blessed with the company of Californian songsmith Mark Weigle during September/October. He performed live in the 4ZZZ studio on the 3rd October, presenting three brand spanking new songs and one very fine cover (Dolly Parton's "Jolene").

Below are links to the stereo MySpace videos in sequence (filmed on MiniDV and edited by John Frame, announcer is Felix Kellett). The audio for the songs is via a Sony ECMMS907 stereo mic located in a fixed position in front of Mark (the studio mics only air in mono).

Comments are welcome - and I'm sure Mark would also welcome visitors to his site www.markweigle.com to consider his 6 studio albums - including his newly released "Mark Weigle". All the albums, except the newest one, are available via iTunes.

PS: Mark Weigle was also holidaying with his mates Armistead Maupin and Chris Turner. Armistead happily credits Mark for his real life contribution (a sexual encounter with a transman) to forming the character Jake in his new novel "Michael Tolliver Lives".
