Dear Mr Frame,

Thank you for your letter of 10 July 2000 regarding age of consent and sodomy laws.

I am aware that you have spoken to Aaron Johnstone in my office. I understand Aaron advised you that the Minister for Health, the Honourable Wendy Edmond MLA, would be the more appropriate Minister to consider an awareness campaign.

All of you correspondence to date has been forwarded to Ms Edmond for consideration.

I have also noted your comments with regards to the GENERATE website and a copy of your letter has been forwarded to officers within the Department who are responsible for maintaining this website.

Yours sincerely

Anna Bligh MP

Minister for Families, Youth and Community Care, Minister for Disability Services.
