"Finding Your Religion - We asked you to tell us your
stories, and you did -- in droves! Here's our roundup of what PlanetOut members had to
say about religion: how it shaped who they are, how they've dealt with being a
gay person of faith, how they've found accepting communities or set out on
their own spiritual quests. We've organized your stories by faith and included
some useful resources to help you along the way."

Freedom 2 B: Pentecostal & Charismatic LGBTIQ
Australian based support group
Freedom
2 B(e) is not unlike other denominational groups such as Acceptance, Integrity,
Courage, Dignity, Kinship and Affirmation that have been created to help GLBTIQ
(gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, intersex and questioning) people resolve
issues of faith and sexual orientation. “We
will be providing support, information and a safe place for people still in or
who have left Pentecostal/Charismatic churches. This will be done through our
website and also regular meetings” added Anthony Venn-Brown (author of ‘A LIFE OF
UNLEARNING Coming Out of the Church – One Man’s Struggle’).

portrayals of Arabs within the Gay and Lesbian community.
An international organization dedicated to Muslims who are lesbian,

"Gay & Mormon?! … you may be amazed to discover that gay Latter-day
Saints even exist! Of course it's true. In our own church you will find
homosexuals from every walk of life and in every position of service. Virtually
every family in the church has a homosexual member somewhere on their family
tree (and more likely on several branches)."
